Here at Exposure AutoMoto, we have a passion for innovation and technology in the world of LED lighting. We have become the first company to master LED technology for portable sports lighting, specifically mountain biking, 24 hour endurance racing, and rallying.
This passion has been key to Exposure being recognized for 20 years as the leading global brand for sports lighting.
With our new brand AutoMoto, we at Exposure have used our experience and expertise to create a new range of high-intensity automotive lights. We've gained our knowledge from 20 years of constant development and participation in the world of cycling, and we've carried this approach across to the automotive world.
Our design and development for AutoMoto lights has been focused on the challenging world of rallying, the ultimate test arena. We've developed systems based on feedback from high-profile endurance racing and rallying professionals. Features like our unique quick release mounts and mounting options, wiring looms, switching systems, programming, and thermal management have all been refined by real-world experience.
All our lights are designed and built in the UK.
Anodised Aluminium
AutoMoto lights are constructed from CNC milled aluminium, which then undergoes a hard anodisation process. Raw aluminium components are dipped into an electrolytic solution, and a current is passed through them. Anodising greatly increases resistance to corrosion, as the natural oxide layer is built up to form a protective ceramic-like coating.
1100 Lumens Per Bulb
Each AutoMoto light can produce a seriously large amount of light. Even the small single-bulb Radial 1 light can produce 1100 lumens, which is more light than most standard halogen car headlights. If you choose a Straight 8 or Radial 8, you'll be producing around 9,000 lumens per light. A rally car will likely have 4 lights on for a night stage, which is enough to have daylight levels of brightness on the dark stages.
IP69K Waterproof
AutoMoto lights are IP69 rated for waterproofing and particle ingress. This is the highest rating you can achieve, but what does it actually mean? 'IP' stands for 'ingress protection'. The first number after that rates the protection against solid particles such as dust and sand. This scale goes from 0 to 6. A score of 0 means no protection, 6 means completely dust tight with no ingress. The second number is the rating for protection against liquids, and this scale goes from 0 to 9. A score of 0 is no protection, 9 means water tight against close range, high temperature, high pressure water. Specifically 80 degrees Celsius, at a minimum of 1160 psi.

Quick-release cleats, number plate brackets, 3M sticky brackets, the list goes on. We offer a huge amount of brackets, meaning you have almost endless options when it comes to mounting your AutoMoto light. This versatility also means you can mount them to pretty much whatever vehicle you choose. Cars. bikes, trucks, tractors, you name it.
Made in the UK
All our products are designed and built in the UK. At Exposure, we've been building our LED lights in Britain for the past 20 years, and AutoMoto is no exception. From the initial design concept to final assembly, everything is done at our factory in Sussex.
Universal Wiring Options
We offer a large array of wiring options and switch gear to suit your needs. We make bespoke looms for everything between 1 and 4 lights, as well as plug and play looms for rally cars such as the M-Sport Fiesta. We also offer looms that work via an independent switch, or that can link into your high beam switch.
Design & Development

We took a strong approach to our development work for AutoMoto lights. We decided to ask those with the most experience to help us with our product design. Expertise from the world of rallying, 24 hours endurance racing, and off-roading have all played a vital part in helping us to create the perfect lights.
High-intensity lights are a must for rallying and off-roading. Our Straight 8 and Radial 8 lights both pack a punch with 9500 lumens of brightness per light.
Lightweight construction is needed for endurance racing and off-road motorcycling. The Radial 8 is our heaviest light, and it weighs only 500 grams.
Every racing discipline needs their auxiliary lights to be easily removable. Since they're not needed for daytime running, removing them saves weight and reduces the risk of unnecessary damage. We've developed quick release cleats as well as a quick connector for the wiring loom, meaning the lights can be removed in seconds.
